Side: Green Beans w/garlic and roasted almonds.
Entree: Grilled chicken w/linguine and veggies.
Dessert: Ghirardelli Brownies w/Walnuts.

This week has been a complete mush. All the days blend together. But I look forward to using my commute home to catch up on my Insta/Twitter feed and indulge in the latest articles from WIRED magazine. The highlight of my week was spending quality time with friends, cooking dinner all from scratch! My biggest deadline is fast approaching and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel shinning brighter!!

Here is what's been on my radar this week:

ONE // Oscars are right around the corner (Feb 28) and in anticipation of the 88th Academy Awards, I am gearing up by binge watching old animated shorts on repeat (Watch my favorites: here, here, and here). Next week I'm watching the 2016 animated nominations at Landmark Theaters; It's the only place in Chicago to watch it!

TWO // Chocolate + (hazel)Nuts = a magical explosion of flavor. The newest indulgence from Mariano's: Lake Champlain.

THREE // Cold, snowy days call for lemon-honey tea and heart-warming movies. Mom and I watched "The Intern" together and could not stop laughing and found Robert De Niro to be the cutest 70 year-old man! Favorite quote: "Nobody calls men "men" anymore. Have you noticed? Women went from "girls" to "women."Men went from "men" to "boys?" This is a problem in the big picture. Do you know what I mean?"

FOUR // February literally means "Love is in the Air." Well ... not literally but essentially the same thing right? These are the sweetest illustrations that I've seen perfectly capturing the funnest parts of being in a relationship and so relatable!

FIVE // The Art Institute of Chicago is waiving admission for the entire month of February (a $22 value)! Hopefully before the month ends I have some time to make my way there to check out "The New Contemporary" Exhibit.
